Farrowing Drop Feeder

Farrowing Drop Feeder
Save time, feed and money with AP's Farrowing Drop Feeder. Feed farrowing sows individually according to condition, without the hassle of labor intensive feed carts and scoops. A flexible sock allows movement in any direction. A swing gate at the bottom of each feeder is manually operated to quickly and accurately measure 1 to 12 pounds of feed, eliminating costly overfeeding. An adjustable band around the feeder is used to provide a record of the previous feeding. It is available in 8-1/2 or 12 lb. capacities with model 220 or 300 drop kits.

Automatic Farrow Feeder

Automatic Farrow Feeding
Decrease labor cost with AP's fully automated farrowing drop feeding systems. The Chain Disk feed system is ideally suited for feeding multiple rows of farrowing crates with a single drive unit. Either pneumatic or electric actuators are operated by a programmable electronic time clock to provide multiple unattended feedings increasing feed intake during lactation.

		Ultra-Drop Feed Dispenser The Ultra-Drop feeder is specifically designed to meet the requirements of automated feeding of both lactating and gestating sows. A half turn of the convenient adjustment knob adjusts the feeder from 1 to 8 pounds, low enough for multiple feedings in lactation and high enough for once a day feedings in gestation. The semi-transparent feeder body allows for visual confirmation of the feed level and proper operation of the feeder at a glance. A weighted ball valve securely closes off the feeder and provides agitation as it is lifted through the feed insuring complete clean out. Ultra-Drop feeders can be dumped manually using either a lever or winch or can be equipped with electric or pneumatic actuators for timed automated feedings.

Econo-Drop Feed Dispenser
AP's Econo-Drop Feed Dispenser provides accurate control of feed delivery to gestation or lactating sows. Features include a front mounted, adjustment slide allowing precision, one-handed feed adjustment from 1.5 to 12 lbs. The feeder is molded from UV stabilized, clarified polypropylene plastic providing a semi-transparent feeder body that allows visual confirmation of the feed level. Each Econo-Drop feeder is equipped with a slide shut off valve to be used when the feeder is not in use. A simple weighted ball valve to be used when the feeder is not in use. A simple weighted ball valve securely closes the feeder and when emptying provides agitation as it is raised through the feed. In addition, the steep hopper slopes insure complete clean out. Econo-Drop feeders can be operated manually via a lever or winch, or can be fully automated to provide unattended feedings.

Accu-Drop Feed Dispenser

Accu-Drop Feed Dispenser
The difference is "clear". Designed to fill the highly precise requirements of today's diverse production systems, AP's Accu-Drop Feed Dispenser is adjustable fro 1.5 - 12 pounds. The pre-assembled feeder installs quickly and is constructed of stainless steel, durable clear PVC and injection molded polypropylene for consistent quality. Feeders feature simple eye level adjustment by raising the ball valves. The system can be dumped manually by levers or winches or with a fully automated actuator system operated by a programmable timer which also controls the feed systems and watering valves.

Drop Tube
AP's adjustable drop tube can be moved from 8-1/2" to 22" to adapt to any installation. It is designed to slide over a 2" (2-3/8" OD) gestation feed pipe. This product provides a low cost alternative to using PVC pipe, couplers and adapters.

AutoAIR-Drop Feed Dispenser
AutoAIR drop feeders are the ultimate in fully automated sow feeding for breeding and gestation barns. AutoAIR-drops use the mechanical advantage of a stainless steel lever combined with pneumatic cylinders to simultaneously trip all of the feeders for true "surprise feeding". The cylinders mount directly to the feed line to insure proper alignment and can trip up to two hundred feeders each. A single compressor can be used to power an entire five thousand sow unit.
